Quensha dogs generally have a very active showing career in the early part of their lives and they miss those excursions as they get older. The older dogs are always well treated here but there is not enough room for them all to lie on a sofa in front of the fire! It sometimes suits them to find a new owner who can give them individual attention, so this can be an opportunity for those dog lovers who do not want to cope with a lively puppy. Some of our more mature dogs have been lucky enough to find wonderful new homes where they are taken for lots of exciting walks, sleep on sofas (not mandatory) and even have new careers as PAT dogs, cheering up people in hospitals and care homes. Recent transfers are listed on these pages. We are always happy to discuss possibilities, as dogs may be available from time to time to approved new homes.
